King Bob is our stud llama (daddy llama) and is the oldest in our herd at age 11. He is the father of Stanley, Flapjack, Pedro and Sunny. King Bob has a very calm demeanor and is a gentle giant. He is definitely the "King" in the male llama pen with his sons.
Hynji is our main Dam (mama llama) and is the second oldest in the herd at age 6. She is the mother of Flapjack, Stanley, Stormy, and Pedro. She is also the grandmother of Sunny. Hynji loves food more than any llama I have ever seen, so we call her "hungry Hynji". She is very elegant, tall, and gentle, making her an excellent dam for our breeding program.
Stormy was the first cria (baby llama) born with our family. She has a very special place in our hearts for being our first cria and being a surprise. When we brought home Hynji, nobody was aware she was pregnant. We were blessed with a surprise cria which was Stormy. We came to find out that Stormy's father is an alpaca, making her 50% llama and 50% alpaca which is known as a huarizo. Unlike mules, huarizos are fertile and can be bred with llamas or alpacas to produce fertile offspring. Stormy has the gentle demeanor like her mom, with her own unique friendliness. If I could pick one llama to let live in the house with me, it would be Stormy!
Mother: Hynji
Father: Coogee (alpaca)
Flapjack was our first male cria born on our farm. Flapjack is 2 years old and still growing, I believe he will end up being our largest llama by the time he is full grown. Flapjack should have been named Romeo for his flirtatious attitude with our guests. He is always the first to greet everyone and wins hearts immediately. He is also my goofiest male with his spontaneous and playful attitude. He will be a great packer when he matures.

Stanley is now 1 year old and still working on his confidence. Unlike his brother, Flapjack, he is shy and takes a little bit longer to warm up to new people, and once he does he is very friendly. He inherited more of his dad's wooly fiber, and his mom's demeanor and colors.

Sunny is only 5 months old and already has the confidence of an adult llama. She is the friendliest and fluffiest cria we have ever had. She comes running when called and is always happy to greet new people. She is curious about everything you're doing and wants to be involved. She inherited her moms looks, demeanor and fiber type. Being 75% llama and 25% alpaca, we are looking forward to seeing what her adult size will be, and if she will take more after her alpaca genetics or her llama genetics.

Pedro had a rough start in life, and we were unsure he would survive it. He had some brain damage from being stuck in the birth canal for being an extra large cria, and was having a hard time nursing. His mom was milked and he was bottle fed for the first two weeks of life to be sure that he was getting the nutrients he needed to have a fighting chance. He is now a 5 month old, bouncy cria that has outgrown his part-alpaca half sibling, Sunny. Pedro still has some delays adjusting to light changes, but improves daily. His favorite activity is playing with our dogs and his sibling. He is a precious, kind soul that is still a bit shy, but we believe he will build confidence over time, just as his older brothers have.
